  • The feedback from assessments should be timely and prompt to sustain interest in learning. Verbal and written feedback on formative assessment should be provided immediately to improve learning. As part of the standardisation process in my construction department, feedback on summative assessments should be given within three academic weeks. The feedback provided should be clear, unambiguous, and detailed. I design my summative assignments on MS Teams so that feedback can be provided against each criterion being assessed. This would ensure transparency and clarity in the process. The positives from the work should be highlighted, and points to improve on should be constructively presented to the students.
